I'm a young girl born in Sweden but I had to try my wings early in the world, so I have a lot to fall back on and hopefully some new thinking.
My experience of planning events are all between big sport event's to different fund-raising projects, most of them in Asia where I went to school and lived for more than eight years. I also been running my own small resort / water sport school in the Philippines, Asia.
But the longing for the beautiful Swedish nature was getting to big. And when I saw this job at Västervik Experience I just knew that this was my challenge.
And not do I only know, I'm certain that my experience together with the rest of the team is going to bring a lot of new thinking and a lot of fun in all our future projects.

I was born in 1979 in Fagersta and since 1999 I have been living in Stockholm. I have a Master of Arts Degree in marketing and communication from Stockholm University, and I have done studies in public relations and tourism.
I have five years experience of project management within the tourism industry. In my previous role I worked at the company Stockholm Turism AB organising events in
Stockholm and achieving successful marketing campaigns. This to attract tourists to visit Stockholm and to make them aware of the highlights of the city. I have also lead tourism projects for the Stockholm City Council, and have gained valuable business to business experience and coordinating skills.

ReplyDeleteI am proud to start my employment as marketing engineer here at Alsjöholm Mekaniska Verkstad and would like to make a brief presentation of myself. For the last seven years I have managed my own advertising agency working mostly with Business to business communication and marketing. The clients have consisted of small and average size companies working with engineering, software technology and in the food industry. In my profession I have been dedicated to combining knowledge and understanding of marketing and advertising with technology and a wish to communicate all this to other companies and the public. So I really hope that my knowledge can be of benefit to Alsjöholm Mekaniska Verkstad.
During my spare time I like orienteering and running around in the forest trying to find the way. Going to the Alps or the Swedish mountains is also something I enjoy and try to do frequently.
I have a daughter of eighth years and I like to take part in her activities and helping her out with her homework. Good food and cooking with my family is also something that I am fond of and try to to do whenever I have the time.

ReplyDeleteMy name is Annica Dahlberg and I am honoured to join the team here at Påryd Projektering AB as head of our customer contacts. I was earlier managing director at the customer service for the PTA (SL) in Stockholm. As it is in the process of being outsourced I have been asked to take part in leading the Påryds Projektering on to new triumphs.
My aims in life have always been to help others and to try to exceed their expectations. In the summer of 76 I started as an agent in the customer service organisation. Since then I have been responsible for different areas within the PTA such as traffic planning, marketing and economics. In the beginning of Year 2002 SL decided to organize the customer service in a joint company which I was asked to lead. With the commitment of every one of the over 200 employees we have succeeded in creating one of the best customer services in Sweden. Now my incentive is to do the same thing once more together with the co-workers at Påryds.
I do like to work a lot but when I’m not working I try to spend as much time as I can on my sailing yacht. I and my fiancé spend nearly 80 days a year sailing round the Baltic Sea. I also enjoy a trip or so abroad or relaxing in our summer cottage in the Archipelago.

Hanna was born in 1982 in Hässleholm, a small town in southern Sweden.
She has a Master´s Degree in Human Resource Management and has in the past year gathered experiences working as a consultant for both small and larger companies. Her strong belief is that the employees and their knowledge constitute the greatest and most important resource in today´s business corporations.
Hanna also has years of experience from the tourist area, for exampel she spent several summers playing the role of Pippi Longstockings in Kneippbyn, Gotland.
Her first meeting with Västervik took place in a kayak exploring the beatiful archipelago and this raised her interest for the area. This reveals that she is a naturelover and furthermore Hanna describes herself as a big fan of jazzmusic, Italian food and wine from the Valpolicella area.
It is with great enthusiasm and determination she will take on the task to put Västervik on the map as the number one tourist centre on the Swedish west coast. ReplyDeleteI’m 46 years old and was educated at the University of Gothenburg, where I graduated in 1985. Cars are my passion and every winter I’m bound to go up north to follow the race Svenska Rallyt. Luckily my family has adopted this interest as well.
The latest decade I’ve had my experience at ABB with a geographic base in Malmö, but responsible for the Asian region. My career started off though, right from the beginning, at a small manufacturing industry in the middle of Småland – we produced radiators. Those years gave me a solid ground and important values to build my future on.
Connecting people to develop business then was, and still is, my belief. Even a small company has possibilities to conquer the markets of the world – it’s only a matter of connecting the appropriate people. This is my plan for Alsjöholm Mekaniska Verkstad.

Between 2003 and 2007 I was working as a Business Manager at a medium sized company stationed in Stockholm where my main tasks where to increase the awareness of the company’s brand, with main focus on the middle east region. I just entered the labour market again after being on maternity leave for two years and I’m very keen on taking on my new tasks at Påryd Projektering HB.

Sebastiaan Mens is the new chairman of the board of Västervik Experience since September 2009.
ReplyDeleteAs a former board member of the municipality in Kalmar, where Mr Mens since 2008 was responsible for the youth activity centres he gained a lot of experience in the leisure field by working with a great variety of organisations, people and companies.
Mr Mens was born on the 18th of February 1988 in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. He earned the bachelor of sports and leisure, from the Fontys university off applied science department sports and movement in 2008. he started working at the municipality of Kalmar directly after graduation.
Mr Mens is the youngest chairman in the history of the Västervik Experience and is ready to lead in a new era with a different approach. His knowledge of different people and cultures will show Chinese investors that the Västervik Experience internships is not a company of stiff suits at all.
As a person Mr Mens is a delighted football player who loves to follow almost every competition. His open personality makes him loved with his teammates and colleagues. I am a drifty, positive person who enjoys being the leading spirit.
I love travelling. My interest in people and different cultures led me to live abroad for seven years. When living in the United States my daughter was born. Her four year older brother is quite jealous of her American citizenship. Two years in Korea gave me a deep insight into the Asian culture. I am married to Christer, we try to explore Swedish and foreign resorts as often as we can.
On Tuesday evenings I enjoy singing in the Elme choir, another of my passions is textile art.
With nine years experience from global marketing communication at IKEA I am looking forward to promote our wonderful Västervik to visitors from Sweden and around the world.
Warm up 1 - Personal presentation for the web site
ReplyDeleteMy name is Kristina Fredlund and since Monday this week I joined the team here at Påryd Projektering AB as a Business Manager. I am an optimistic 33 years old woman and I love football even though I stopped playing for more than ten years ago.
I started my first own business during high school, selling Christmas flowers but my working experiences are mainly from larger companies. Controller, Collateral Management, Account Manager are some of the positions I have had earlier. I graduated from the University of Stockholm 2002 with a Master´s degree in Finance. However the biggest challanges in my life, so fare, are my two daughters, two years and six month old. They are giving me a lot of laught and insperations every day.
I expect all of you will start this journey together with me, every piece in the process are important i.e. your work. I believe we all are going to do our best. I also hope my network with municipalities and municipality owned companies are going to be an advantage and supply a lot of great businesses.

I was born in Kalmar 1977 but have been living in Stockholm since High School. In 2000 I graduated with a Master of Science of Business Administration and Economics from Stockholm University. As a student I spent one year studying Postgraduate courses in Finance and Management both in Australia and China.
After graduation I started working as a Client Executive for Small and Middle-sized Companies at the branch office of SEB Sergels Torg in Stockholm. I was responsible of 150 enterprises giving financial advisory service regarding cash management, loans and capital investments. I was also in charge of the banks division of New Business Development, helping companies get started but also giving advisory regarding mergers and acquisitions.
For the past three years I have been employed as a Business Manager for the Swedish Clearinghouse, BGC, working with sales, marketing, and public relations but also with data processing and economics.
In my spare time I like to play golf with my friends. I also sing in a choir and take tap dancing lessons. To relax I usually paint, read or go for a run.
Seeing it as a natural step I’m ready to meet new challenges but also hoping to share and expand my knowledge within Påveryd Projektering.

On the 15th of January 1986 I was born in Valkenswaard in the south of The Netherlands. As the oldest of four children I have lived a happy and peaceful youth with sports in general and football in particular, as my main concerns.
Therefore Fontys University of Applied Science, Department Sports and Movement was a logical next step in my education. With the major Sports and Leisure I hit the bulls-eye, it was the perfect education to develop my knowledge of and passion for one of the most interesting areas to work in.
The first time I was really ‘touched’ by Sweden was when I did an internship at Kalmar Kommun to conclude my education in The Netherlands. Being used to The crowded Netherlands I found space and peace in Sweden.
Subsequently I decided I wanted to know more of Sports and Leisure in Sweden and I did a master at Malmö University. After my master I have worked at Malmö University for five years until I applied for this job.

ReplyDeleteI have a degree in Business Administration from the University of Stockholm in 1995. Since then I’ve been working broad-based within the area of business economics. I have worked as a unit manager during a period of two years. The task was to managing the staff of 15 accountants and I was also responsible for the development and daily business in the unit in question. This mission taught me a lot in understanding people and the importance of a long-term perspective and patience when it comes to making alterations.
I have also been working as a project leader of an internal control assignment called SOX. I worked full-time with that project during one and a half year. The task was to get the company SOX compliant and comprised a new set of rules and regulations. It was a project that involved a large number of people within the company and also a number of consultants outside the company. We reached the agreed objectives on time and within the limits of the budget.
As a person I would describe myself as positive and I like to improve things together with other people. I’m married and have two children and I spend most of my spare time doing what families do.

My biggest interests are to travel and explore the nature. I like sailing, paddling and playing floor ball whit friends.

First, my interbreeding is the main element that contributed to open my mind to the world which surrounds me. Since my first travels in Republic of Benin, my second country, I’ve been in Tenerife for 3 months working in Account department and Guest relation in Sol Melia hotel within the context of an internship. Nowadays, I am studying Business in Sweden for one semester in a Bachelor Level in order to improve my English and discover the Scandinavian culture.
Then, I believe we are satisfied only when we give the best of ourselves, thing I maintain with practicing sport daily, being hard-working and constantly enriching my knowledge. I recently passed the PCIE, European diploma which establishes my computer and office automation skills.
To finish, I enjoy being in contact with people whatever the way is. I used to spend some days in summer with the disabled, I was engaged in local organization and since I moved to Bordeaux, I have helpen children with school difficulties.

Since 1th September 2009 I am part of Påryd Projektering. I am very pleased and honoured to be the manager of Påryd Projektering. A brief presentation about myself. I have a double degree in law and economics from the University of Stockholm. During my time at the University I had the opportunity to study abroad at two occasions, in England and France. Therefore I speak not only Swedish and English, but also French. During my time at the University I was the leader of different projects and organisations. In the past I have had a lot of different jobs in both law and economics. Most recently I was working as a Corporate Counsel at PEAB.

I like to travel around and meet people from all over the world. I had an experience to go traveling all over the world during the year, 2005. I was born in 1975 in Stockholm, Sweden. I graduated in business administration from university of Uppsala. When I was a university student, I went to Korea as an exchange student. At Seoul national university, I studied in marketing and advertising. Although it was just one year short, my life in Korea was a meaningful experience. Moreover in Korea, I learned Korean. Therefore I can speak in Swedish, English, and Korean. While I was in university, I was a leader in marketing club. So I did a lot of projects and won the prize in a variety of competitions.
After I graduated, I had worked as a brand manager at Samsung. Since in 2007, I have operated my own company about consulting advertisement and marketing strategy. These experiences will be helpful as I will be a business manager.

Work experience: Before joining Påryd Projektering, I have been working at Lawson Sweden (former Intentia) for 10 years. I have been working with different clients and projects implementing the ERP system M3 (former Movex), holding positions as senior business consultant and project leader.
The last year I have been working at Lawson Product Development as a senior business analyst, being responsible for new development areas within the Fashion industry as well as being the project leader for a pilot customer using one of the products under development.
Previously, I worked as a support engineer at Scala support, supporting an ERP system called Scala. I also have a background from a mid-size manufacturing industry, working as a chief accountant.
Some of my strenghts are that I am proactive, engaged and positive in my work as well as in my private life. I will share my skills and experience within ERP systems and project management and coaching. I look forward to see us leading the company to new triumphs – together!
If you’re looking for me outside of work hours, you will most probably find me with my family. If I’m not at soccer training with my son or at gymnastics with my daughter, I’m probably cooking a nice dinner for family and friends – doing my best to enjoy life every day!

Some information: Published one article in 2008. (Tissue Culture and Rapid Propagation of Anemone hupehensis var.japonica) Top 100 program about the competition for students to set up a business 2008-2009.

2006-2007 a minister of student union in ZFUC
2008 With the help of school, I run a small shop in school with other 18 students.
2009 assemble 5 friends from different fields to finish one completion about setting up a business. And got Top 100 program in my country.

Throughout my career I have worked in several cross-functional and cross-boarder projects which have provided me with a broad background, multifaceted knowledge and in-depth business understanding of the various departments within a company. Having a natural aptitude for sales my professional background displays experience in the field of sales- and marketing from several countries and regions.
What really exemplifies me is my background in football, which has allowed me to value the importance of team, and how success only comes with everyone in your team winning not just yourself. This very much relates to business as well and that is how I approach my work, day-in and day-out.

ReplyDeleteErika Wallman is the new Project Manager at The Västervik Experience. Her assignment is to coordinate the various activities within the organization and shape the strategy for our common goals.
Erika’s last assignment was as Head of Communications in Ystad Municipality, a position she’s had for five years. She has a Masters Degree in Information Design from Mälardalen University and due to her language studies at the University of Gothenburg she has a good command of English, German, Norwegian and Danish.
Erika is an avid tango dancer and an amateur painter with exhibition experience. She spends her spare time with her family or engages herself in The Swedish Society for Nature Conservation.
